Ch River City's Secret Formula

Ch River City's Secret Formula, aka Plankton, was born 4/9/05.  His sire was BISS Ch Beauties Amos and his dam was Lexi, our foundation bitch.  He came from a litter of four. Plankton was the smallest in the litter.  Our son really liked the little guy and one day said he looked like Plankton, a very small character in the cartoon Spongebob Squarepants on Nickelodeon that is always trying to steal the secret formula for the crabby patties.  Therefore, Plankton came to be his call name while River City's Secret Formula came to be his registered name.  When the puppies were eight weeks old, we couldn't decide whether to keep Plankton or one of his brothers, known as Hellboy at the time.  Some friends of ours had really taken a liking to Hellboy, so they took him into their home, leaving us with Plankton.  He and his sister Belle were going to be our next show prospects at the time. Unlike his sister, Plankton was pretty laid back.  He was a perfect subject for Rod's photo shoots, as he would listen and stay put once he was put in position.  This would later come in handy in the show ring.  At six months of age, Plankton took a five point major in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  What a start!  Plankton was our first show boy, and we were having fun. Most of the time Rod would show Plankton, and he was his shadow at home as well, taking many trips in the car with Rod.  He went on to finish on 11/18/06, at 19 months of age.  After his show career, Plankton had the opportunity to be as special to another Bulldog lover as he was to us.  Plankton is now retired and living a life of luxury not too far from us. He was our fourth bred by champion.
