Holly was born 9/8/03. She was from our first litter of show hopefuls. Her sire is BISS Ch Beauties Amos and her dam is Lexi. Holly made her debut very unexpectedly, at home. Lexi had a planned cesarean, but the babies were ready early. Our daughter Chloe heard a noise and Rod went to see what it was. There was Holly, already on the ground. Rod wrapped her up to keep her warm and, along with Lexi, rushed off to the vet. I met him there. We were worried about Holly and I put her next to my body to warm her up while Lexi was taken back to the operating table. Holly was one of four girls we took home that day. We knew early on that Holly was a keeper. She was beautiful and quickly became my baby. I started showing her in August '04 (our first show was Topeka, KS) and she finished July 2, 2005. She was a challenge to show, as it wasn't her favorite thing to do; but I found that she would do it if I was the one showing her. I put all of Holly's points on her out of the puppy and Bred By Exhibitor classes. Holly is enjoying a life of leisure at home. Her favorite person in the house is our son, Noah. She follows him everywhere. Holly has a habit that is absolutely hysterical. She is rarely seen without a stainless steel dog bowl hanging out of her mouth. She carries them everywhere and if given a chance, will "collect" them like some dogs collect toys. She loves for us to play "take the bowl". She rarely loses. Holly also loves to cuddle and is often found snuggling beside me at night. Holly was our first bred by champion.
