Ch River City's Diablo

Diablo was born 7/12/07 and is out of our Ch River City’s Belle and Ch Dowats the Contender. He was from Belle’s first litter and he was the only male in the litter. Rod and I took a liking to Diablo from the start. He was flashy and handsome and seemed to have the making of a champion early on. I took him to the Sunflower Kennel Club show in Olathe, KS in May of 2008 and took winners dog from the puppy class. Diablo went on the road a few weeks later with his co-owners, Lucky & Donna Watson. Donna won back to back Bests in Sweepstakes in Tulsa under Kelly & Mark White and less than two months later, became a champion with breeder judge Kay Gray awarding him his finishing points. Diablo became our fifth home bred champion on 10/26/08, at 15 months old. I really missed the big guy and he came back to Nebraska after the National Specialty Show that year. Diablo is Big Man of the house and my very special guy, generally trying to follow me out the door each morning when I leave for work, surely hoping I’m taking him to his next dog show. He is being shown by me, as time allows.
